The idea behind the Tartan Willie is to support men suffering from testicular or prostate cancer.

Being told that you have cancer is a great shock; Tania had breast cancer 4 years ago, and has made a full recovery: she knows how positive you have to be to get through the treatment.

Breast cancer has a lot of media coverage, but there is little on the male cancers, and men seem to be quite shy about admitting to have found a lump, so Tartan Willie was born!

Everyone laughs when we tell them about Tartan Willie, so we know that sufferers will smile too, and hopefully relieve any embarrassment they may feel!

Tartan Willies are like a soft toy and can be worn around the waist, over or even under a kilt, and by both sexes. Having a zipped pocket on the front, there is room for some change (preferably notes!), or a condom as we are emphasizing safe sex too, whether you are straight or gay.

They are made in Black Watch, Royal Stewart or Gordon tartan, and can be made in a particular family tartan if required. A percentage of each sale will go to Prostate Cancer Awareness Group in Scotland.
